  • What Services do you offer?
    McCain Construction Kitchen & Bath is a full-service home remodeling contractor who specializes in complete kitchen and bathroom remodels for residential homes and homeowners. We do not work on rental properties, investment properties, or handyman jobs.
  • What is the process for a remodeling project?
    Initial Meeting- An initial consultation, in-home, to discuss the scope of work you are considering. Show room Meeting- Discuss the design and to view products we offer as far as cabinets, counters, hardware, & accessories. Design & Budget Phase- Discuss details of the design, budget, scope of work and a 3D detail digital drawing presentation. Pre-Construction Agreement & Deposit- Meeting to review contract and schedule, signing of agreement and putting down a deposit. Start of Construction- Beginning of demolition & construction
  • What Home improvements add the most value?

  • When is the best time to remodel my home?
    The best time to start your home renovation is whatever works best for you. You might want to consider starting the project when it would be least disruptive to your lifestyle and daily schedule. Interior project renovations can be done year-round.
  • How do I start the Remodeling process?
    The first step would be to look around your home and property to identify any functional problems and design issues you want to address. What do you want it to look like? Research and take note of any designs or functions that inspire you. Our team can help you solidify your vision and bring it to life with our design team and take all preferences and requirements into account while helping you achieve you dream renovation.
  • How long will my project take?
    Each renovation project is unique to the client’s vision for their home. Before we break ground on the project, we will provide you with a timeline for the construction stages and walk you through the process as the project progresses.
  • How much will my project cost?
    Each project is different according to the clients needs. We must consider the existing structure and size of the project. Home remodeling is a complex process, but we have you covered each step of the way, you will not be left in the dark.
  • Should I plan for more money than the contract price
    When we sign a contract with our client, we hold true to the contracted price. We take time to go over every detail of your project with you to ensure the cost is accurate. If there is any additional work or changes needing to be made or requested during the project by the client, this calls for a change order. Before we move forward, we will meet with the client to discuss the additional costs needed to make the change and the client will sign off agreeing to pay the price for the changes they want to make.
  • Do you provide financing options?
    We do not currently provide any financial support for our renovation projects; however, we have financial people we can refer you to if you need financing.
  • What forms of payment do you accept?
    We typically prefer to take personal checks as form of payment; however, we do accept credit card payments.
  • Do I need to worry about permits?
    If you project requires a permit that will be discussed in the design and budget phase as well as written in the contract and the price will be included in the contract.
  • Do you use subcontractors?
    Most of our work is done by our team in house, however, we do work closely with some trusted subcontractors who are licensed and insured in the state of Florida.
